Help the Village Gardeners restore natural habitat along the Los Angeles River, at the Richard Lillard Outdoor Classroom, in Studio City. Continue the work started there on Big Sunday 2008. Project includes removal of invasive non-native plant species to allow natives to flourish, mulching to restore the soils and keep trees and shrubs healthy, planting natives and more. Our goal is to create a model California native plant garden in 2009. Time: 9:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. Your participation will make a difference!
